The Rainband rock ‘This Feeling’ London at The Queen Of Hoxton

Following Saturday’s gig at The Queen Of Hoxton, Shoreditch, London we thought we’d let you give us your say on how the night went. So here we go:

Fantastic gig last night guys! Best band of the night by far! Amazing stage presence and great connection with the crowd! Can’t wait for the next London gig…will be supporting you all the way!

Blindin stuff last night lads, only band to get applause walkin on, Stage presence is the perfect balance of confidence without comin across as arrogant, the sound check was obviously time well spent, keep doin what you’re doin, i feel like i should,ve had to pay more !!!

Amazing gig last night boys, totally stole the show. Prodigal was blinding, what a way to end an amazing set!

Great gig at the Queen of Hoxton last night lads. Best music I’ve heard for some time.

Thanks again for playing for us last night lads, smashin’ set. Hopefully see you all soon. Nic xx

A really rather brilliant perfomance last night, you guys made Hoxton rock!! My only concern is that I can’t get The Prodigal out of my head! Amazing!!!

The Rainband play ‘This Feeling’ club night in London

THIS FEELING Saturday June 11th

The Queen of Hoxton, London // 8pm – 2am

On Saturday June 11th at The Queen of Hoxton, This Feeling will be blasting into orbit, serving up a sumptuous sonic soup of music, with live sets showcasing a clutch of exciting new talent.

Major players on the Manchester music scene, past and present, including Johnny Marr, Elbow and Doves, agree that The Rainband are going places… with expansive, guitar-driven sound-scapes inspired by the majesty of Richard Ashcroft and Doves, The Rainband release new single ‘She’s A Rainbow’ on June 27th and make their London debut at This Feeling.

Essex-based Coldplay label-mates Morning Parade will be performing the kind of distinctive and uplifting dance-rock anthems that have won them an army of fans and made their forthcoming debut album, ‘Under The Stars’,  one of the most keenly anticipated of the year. With a euphoric sound shaped with nods to Elbow and Radiohead, as well as thumping nineties dance anthems, Morning Parade have been recording their debut at Damon Albarn’s ’13 Studios’ and are ready to blow the roof off This Feeling.

Surrey blues/rock four-piece, Warehouse Republic, sold out the 100 Club late last year, shortly before producing their debut single, ‘Revolver’, with help from Basement Jaxx and a Hollywood actress. Warehouse Republic will be smokin’ up This Feeling with their own unique brand of hook-laden electric blues.

Completing the bill, East London psychedelic punk-rock outfit, The Munroes, boast big riffs, powerhouse drums and vocals, and have a fast growing reputation for putting on a blistering live show.

On hand, satisfying revelers all night long, This Feeling’s Resident DJs will be blasting out classic anthems across two rocket-fueled floors (not forgetting the magnificent roof-top garden bar), rattling out tune after Terry and June from the likes of Kasabian, Oasis, The Coral, Brother, The Beatles, The Stone Roses, The Chemical Brothers, The Who, Primal Scream, Beady Eye, Supergrass, Pulp, BRMC, Blur – all the best – as if their very existences depend upon it.
